Coats Rim Clamp Replacement Air Motor for all 50 and 70 series tire changers. New with 1 year factory warranty these motors are rated at up to 4 hp. Common cause of failure is because water enters the lines hence damaging the vanes that power the motor. Think of the motor like a turbo changer. Air enters the port and pushes the vanes in either direction. The vanes are connected to a shaft which in turn is connected to the pulley. Pulley is connected to a Belt which is connected to the transmission.
