Metal Mounting Head
New Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) metal mounting head for Corghi Rim Clamp tire changers. Made from black harden steel these heads are stronger more durable than aftermarket Chinese made heads. Corghi has been using this design for 20+ years. These heads come equip with yellow plastic inserts. These inserts are placed in the most common area in which the wheel may make contact.
The design of the head is superior to the nylon heads. Because metal is stronger than nylon the head doesn’t have to be as thick as a nylon head. Allowing for less effort in bringing the bead over the head.
